| Started in 1981 by a small group of Chicago Police Officers, we have
grown into an organization with members from throughout the United
States.
Our goals are: to bring together law enforcement officers of Ukrainian
heritage, assist citizens of Ukrainian heritage in their struggle with
crime and violence, assist Ukraine's law enforcement professionals in
their transition to Democracy and Rule of Law, facilitate mutually
beneficial contacts between American and Ukrainian law enforcement
professionals.
We offer the only organized link to law enforcement professionals of
Ukrainian heritage in the United States.

Ukrainian heritage in Ukraine and throughout the world.
Our many accomplishments include:
- First contacts with law enforcement professionals in Ukraine.
- First tour of Ukraine by American police officers of Ukrainian
heritage.
- First visit exchanges between Ukrainian and American law enforcement
professionals.
- First training programs for law enforcement officials of Ukraine in
America.
- First International Law Enforcement Conference in Ukraine, after
independence, with over 30 countries represented.
- An expanding support group of law enforcement professionals of
Ukrainian heritage.
- A growing membership, spanning the North American Continent.
- Joint projects with leading university law enforcement institutes.
- Assistance to U.S. Justice Department programs involving Ukraine.
- Assistance to NGOs engaged in law enforcement projects in Ukraine.
- Assistance to senior citizens of Ukrainian heritage, and new
Ukrainian immigrants acclimating to a new life in America.
We are continuing all of these projects and plan to do more.
The publishing of Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian criminal tattoos is in
preparation, and will appear in our web page for the benefit of all law
enforcement professionals who have to deal with migrating criminal
elements.
