Contacts and Networking

The Chamber can help make contacts, especially with professionals and specialists such as financiers, accountants, attorneys, marketing consultants, and transportation experts.

Through receptions for visitors from overseas or from government or other business organizations members are provided opportunities to meet well known and influential individuals.  jointly sponsoring events with members provides the opportunity to show off a new facility, a new product line, a new production unit.

Educational activities such as seminars, round tables or "specialist" lectures all contribute to meeting other men and women with similar interests and needs.
Publications
The Chamber publishes a news letter regularly and publishes "Information Bulletins" and "Back Ground Papers" from time to time.  The bulletins relate to business management and assist in meeting regulatory requirements, reaching from financial matters to the environment.

Publications covering specific items of interest can be located and obtained on a permanent or "borrowing" bases for members by the Chamber Staff.
Data Bases
The Chamber maintains lists of individuals, businesses, and service providers all of which are, or can be, made available to members who are seeking firms from specific areas of expertise.

The staff is skilled at data base research and can assist in finding information for members through access to other organizations and data bases.
Partners in Investing/Joint Ventures
The Chamber can serve as a clearing house for those individuals and firms looking for joint venture or direct investment opportunities.
Privatization activity in Ukraine has created many opportunities for direct investment activity.  The Chamber can assist in making appointments for prospective partners and provide other preliminary assistance relating to financing options and procedures.

Information covering the various forms of business "incorporation" in Ukraine can be obtained from the Chamber or through its members, as well as well as 'current' official fee structures for creating new businesses in Ukraine.  The regulations covering establishment of branch or subsidiary activity is also obtainable through the Chamber.
Demographic Data
Information needed for selecting manufacturing, warehousing, and even retail sites can be researched through the Chamber.  Locations where the greatest number of skilled workers needed may be verified; by specific Oblast where such data is available.

Information about transportation in Ukraine - air, cargo ship, rail, and trucking - with ranges of rates and delivery times as well as instructions for contacting sources of this information can be obtained through the Chamber.

Public production of Ukraine's primary products in the field of agriculture and extractive industries can be obtained.  Information regarding the various types of industrial and commercial activity may be obtained on a selective basis.
Liaison Assistance
For members whose business objectives or operations require it, liaison with the Ukrainian government or branches there of can be arranged through the Chamber or its contacts.  Lists of government officials, or departments and/or their locations can be researched and provided. Such service extends to local government in some instances, as well as special bureaus, trade associations and research or standards organizations if required.
