In less than 24 hours, more than 1,600 Ukrainian families signed up on Welcome Connect, hoping to connect with potential sponsors as they seek refuge in the United States. Welcome Connect is a first-of-its-kind platform that enables Americans who want to be a sponsor, but don’t know anyone fleeing the war in Ukraine, to be connected with Ukrainians seeking refuge. 

 

If you have been looking for a way to help, this is it! 

 

Register at Welcome Connect to sponsor a Ukrainian. Registration is not an immediate obligation to sponsor – you will create a profile, be offered an online training and start the process of connecting with a Ukrainian seeking refuge to decide whether sponsorship is a good fit for you. 

 

This tremendous response from displaced Ukrainians in just hours shows that there is a great need for welcoming. This is a need that you can meet – and the Welcome Connect platform offers training and resources to support you on your sponsorship journey.

 

After you sign-up, spread the word. Your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors are watching the same news headlines as you, but may not know how they can help. Right now Ukrainians are in need of sponsors like you and your community.
